TA-High Desert

Recurrent Energy developed and constructed the TA-High-Desert project in the city of Lancaster, CA, located in Los Angeles County. The project reached commercial operation in early 2013 and was acquired by NRG Solar during the same timeframe. The electricity generated from this project, will be delivered to Southern California Edison (SCE) through a 20-year PPA agreement.

TA-High Desert is located on an approximately 200 acre plot of flat, vacant desert scrub land and generates enough electricity in one year to power approximately 5,200 average California homes.

“Credit goes to Recurrent Energy for developing assets of the quality that the Kansas South and TA-High Desert projects represent. This is our first transaction with Recurrent Energy and the beginning of what I hope will be a long lasting business relationship.”

– Tom Doyle, president and CEO of NRG Solar
