Antes de ocupar su cargo actual, Michael fue consejero delegado de Desarrollo en Recurrent Energy. Lleg\u00f3 a la empresa procedente de NRG, donde ocup\u00f3 el cargo de vicepresidente de Desarrollo de Negocio para la Zona Oeste. Antes de entrar en NRG, ocup\u00f3 varios puestos directivos en Element Power, desde vicepresidente senior de desarrollo hasta director de operaciones (COO). <br\/>Michael es miembro del Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n de la American Clean Power Association, la principal federaci\u00f3n de empresas de energ\u00edas renovables, que promueve el avance de las energ\u00edas limpias como principal fuente de energ\u00eda en Estados Unidos.
