Recurrent Energy is proud to be a global leader in energy storage, now operating <strong>6 GWh of battery energy storage projects worldwide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/recurrentenergy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Fort-Duncan-Project-v4.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Duncan Storage is located in <strong>Maverick County, Texas<\/strong> and achieved commercial operation in June, just ahead of peak summer electricity demand. We secured <strong>$183 million in project financing<\/strong>, and <strong>Burns &amp; McDonnell<\/strong> served as the engineering, procurement, and construction provider. Owned and operated by Recurrent Energy, the project is expected to contribute <strong>millions of dollars in tax revenue<\/strong> to support local community services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ismael Guerrero, CEO of Recurrent Energy<\/strong>, said: \u201cThe completion of Fort Duncan Storage highlights our long-term commitment to Texas, one of the most important and dynamic energy markets in the world. Battery storage plays a critical role in strengthening grid reliability and providing flexible power when it is needed most, while also creating significant economic benefits for local communities.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By storing and dispatching electricity to the <strong>ERCOT grid<\/strong> in response to market demand, Fort Duncan supports <strong>Texas\u2019s grid reliability<\/strong>.
