Cafayate PV project has been operating since 2019, delivering over 229,000 MWh of renewable electricity annually
KITCHENER, ON, Sept 3, 2025 — Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc. (“Canadian Solar”) (NASDAQ: CSIQ), and a leading global developer, owner, and operator of solar and energy storage assets, announced today an agreement for the sale of a 100 MWp operating solar project in Salta, Argentina to Central Puerto, one of the leading power generation companies in the country.
The Cafayate PV project, located in the Cafayate region of Salta, has been in commercial operation since 2019 and generates approximately 229,820 MWh of clean electricity annually.
