Electricity generated from the project will be delivered to Southern California Edison (SCE) via a 20-year power purchase agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Victor Phelan is part of a six project portfolio <a href=\"http:\/\/stage.recurrentenergy.com\/press-release\/google-kkr-partner-to-invest-in-portfolio-of-solar-pv-projects-from-developer-recurrent-energy\/\">acquired by Google and KKR in November 2013<\/a> and reached commercial operation in the same time frame. Google and KKR previously partnered in 2011 to invest in a <a href=\"http:\/\/stage.recurrentenergy.com\/projects\/smud\/\">four project portfolio<\/a> totaling 88 MW near Sacramento, CA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The 18 MW project is located on flat, vacant desert land, ideal for solar development.
