AUSTIN, Texas \u2014 Every week KVUE highlights employers who are hiring during the pandemic. This week we spoke with RigUp and the Housing Authority of the City of Austin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Part of the site will be across the road but the site itself will be over 950 acres,”<\/em> said RigUp Energy Managing Director Leslie Elliott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pflugerville Solar Project will be a utility-scale solar farm, east of Pflugerville. Elliot said the project is expected to be completed in January 2021. The solar project is expected to power 25,000 homes in Austin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
