Canadian Solar Inc.<\/a> (\u201cCanadian Solar\u201d) (NASDAQ: CSIQ) and a leading global developer, owner, and operator of solar and energy storage assets, today announced the start of commercial operation at the Court Barton Solar Farm in South Devon.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWith a capacity of 20 MWp, Court Barton Solar Farm will generate enough clean electricity to power around 8,500 homes each year and avoid more than 6,200 tonnes of CO\u2082 emissions annually, equivalent to removing approximately 1,300 cars from the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
