The Papago Storage Project is a 300 MW/1200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located just west of Tonopah in Maricopa County, Arizona. The project is in commercial operation as of 2025. Power from this project is being sold to the Arizona Public Service Commission through a 20-year tolling agreement.
