The 23 MWac Hays Solar Project and the 23 MWac Jenner Solar Project are currently under construction in southeast Alberta. In January of 2021, Recurrent Energy completed the sale of the Hays and Jenner Solar Projects to BluEarth Renewables. The projects are co-owned by Conklin Métis Local 193, an indigenous community based in the rural hamlet of Conklin and part of the Athabasca Oil Sands region in eastern Alberta.
