Recurrent Energy Welcomes Inés Arrimadas as Chief ESG and Communications Officer

GUELPH, ON, December 14, 2023 – Recurrent Energy, a global developer and owner of solar and energy assets, announced today the appointment of Inés Arrimadas as the new Chief ESG and Communications Officer of the company. Her joining will take effect next January, marking an exciting commitment to the future as the company strives to solidify its position as a global leader in renewable energy.

Arrimadas brings with her an impeccable track record in both the private and public sectors. Her successful political career led her to become a member of the Parliament of Catalonia, the opposition leader during the separatist process in Catalonia, a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies, the parliamentary spokesperson in that Chamber, and president of Ciudadanos Party.

Now, she resumes her professional career in the private sector with Recurrent Energy, aiming to contribute to the consolidation and expansion of the company’s activities worldwide. Her responsibilities will include ESG strategy, communications, public affairs, and institutional relations for the company, working closely with the global solar and energy storage giant Canadian Solar Inc., of which Recurrent Energy is a part.

With extensive experience in national and international legislation, and proven professional skills, Arrimadas holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville, Spain, as well as a program in International Business Management from the Institute of Preparation for Administration and Management (IPAG) in Nice, France.
