Ping Xu serves as Vice President Head of Risk Management and Chairman of the Investment Committee at Recurrent Energy. He was Vice President of Finance at Canadian Solar’s Energy Group before the company was rebranded as Recurrent Energy in 2023. Ping joined Canadian Solar in 2014. He has over 25 years of experience in a broad range of corporate finance & accounting functions. Prior to Canadian Solar, Ping served at various corporate finance and accounting management roles with Cameron International Corporation, Monsanto Company and Siemens. Ping holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University.
