Renewables Now: Recurrent Energy nabs USD 75m debt for N American solar projects

Solar project developer Recurrent Energy LLC has secured USD 75 million (EUR 63.1m) in debt to finance and accelerate the development of its projects across the US and Canada.

The development loan facility was provided by Nomura Corporate Funding Americas LLC, Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ), which is the owner of Recurrent Energy, said on Thursday. The fresh funds will be allocated to support the company’s existing pipeline of utility-scale solar and solar-plus-storage projects.
